My Birth Preferences worksop is perfect for you if you do not require the full service of a doula, but are looking for an opportunity to talk with someone on an individual basis about all of your birthing options and what to expect from labour.

This 2 hour workshop can take place in your home, by telephone or interactively through a video call. Content will include:

*The anatomy and physiology of birth, including the stages of labour

*The birth environment-where you would like to give birth and how

*Caesarean birth, induction-how can you keep this in your control

*Medical interventions-what these look like and the effects

*Comfort measures-what are the pros and cons of each

*Guidance for writing birth preferences

You are under no obligation to book any further services from me. However, if you would like to go ahead with my Continuum or Shared Care Doula service after we have completed this session, the original fee paid will be deducted from your new service.
